(NYSE: IP) announced the election of Stacey J. Mobley to its board of
directors, effective today.

serving in the Office of the Chief Executive, which has responsibility for
strategic direction and operations of all the company's businesses," said John

directors."
Mr. Mobley, 62, is the retired senior vice president, general counsel and
chief administrative officer of DuPont, a global science company. He joined
DuPont in 1972 and held leadership positions in DuPont Legal, Government
Affairs and External Affairs throughout his career. He earned a bachelor's
degree from the Howard University School of Pharmacy in 1968 and a J.D. degree
from Howard University School of Law in 1971.
Mr. Mobley is a member of the board of directors of the Wilmington Trust
Co., a financial holding company, and serves on the board of trustees of
Howard University.
